Counselor, LCMHC, MLADC, ACS

I believe that therapists help best when they don't just hear but actually listen to what their clients are saying. I would like to provide a sounding board; a place for people to actually be able to say out loud the things that they have been thinking; in that moment those clients can often answer their own questions. I would like to offer the opportunity to just talk; let's see if there's a rapport and if you feel that I can help you.

Graduate Interns

  • MSW Clinician

Hi, I’m McKenzie, a clinical intern finishing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University. I provide counseling services under professional supervision and focus on working with teenagers and young adults navigating mental health challenges.

My approach to counseling is person-centered, meaning I believe each person has the capacity for growth and self-understanding when given a supportive and accepting space. I strive to create a non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered to better understand themselves, develop coping skills, and move towards meaningful change. My communication style is calm, compassionate, supportive, and validating, and I aim to help clients feel safe, respected, and understood throughout the counseling process.

  • MSW Clinician

Hello! I’m a graduate student at Antioch University, and I am excited to begin my practicum and internship with Compass Behavioral Health as a mental health therapist.

My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel truly heard and understood, because your story matters.

I believe that mental health is a journey, not a destination, and that opening up can be one of the bravest and most rewarding steps you take. Whether you're facing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or just need someone to listen, I’m here to support you with compassion, patience, and a touch of warmth.

Together, we’ll work toward understanding your unique experiences and finding practical ways to foster growth and resilience. Remember, you don’t have to face everything alone, and I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you every step of the way.
